SERVICE FEES

Wheels: ¥4,000 per wheel (¥15,000 per set) or 8% of purchase amount; whichever is greater

Small items: ¥2,500 per item or 10% of purchase amount, whichever is greater

Cleaning and special packing fees charged on a case by case basis - this will be included on the estimate.  Grease/oil removal from items, large item custom boxing, cutting items to make them fit shipping size limits, etc.

Items that cannot be shipped: used exhaust systems (new is allowed), any used parts that came in contact with gasoline (even if it looks clean), shock absorbers/coilovers/struts.  We will let you know when you inquire if it cannot be shipped.  These are post office shipping courier rules.

BUYING SERVICE FLOW

1) INQUIRY: Send the link to the wheels you want to win/buy and your maximum bid via the contact form.

2) ESTIMATE: You’ll receive a custom estimate with total costs to your door and available shipping options.

3) DEPOSIT: To place a bid, a deposit equal to 20% of your maximum bid is required prior placing your bid. For “buy it now” purchases, the purchase amount and shipping will be invoiced up front.

— Your deposit is refundable if the auction is lost or we can hold it for future auction to try again.

— Please note: PayPal does not refund their fees so the refunded amount will be the amount we received in Japanese Yen after PayPal fees were deducted. This is why we try to keep the deposit low.

4) BID: Once we receive your deposit, your maximum bid will be entered on your behalf.  If you win, JDM Wheels Co. will handle purchase and communication with the seller to get the wheels delivered domestically.

5) INSPECTION & PACKING: When your wheels arrive, they’ll be inspected and repacked to ensure safe transport to you. You’ll be updated on final shipping costs.

6) SHIPPING: Once shipping method is selected, you'll pay the remaining balance prior to shipping.

Then just sit back and watch the automatic tracking updates as the wheels head your way!

 

SHIPPING METHODS

DHL - 3-7 days transit times. Cost is based on size.  Tracking and insurance available.

EMS - 4-10 days transit times. Cost is based on weight with smaller size limits than DHL.  1.5m length limit AND length + circumference has to be less that 2.75 or 3m total (varies by country).  Weight limit of 30kg (some countries 20kg). 

SURFACE MAIL - About 2 months transit times (varies by country; some 2-3 months). Smaller size dimensions than EMS and DHL is some cases.  Cannot be insured to some countries. Surface mail is best used when saving money is more important than speed.
